In my daily life, I come across with many people whom I respect, like my parents, teachers and friends. But the person I respect most is Helen Keller although I do not know her in person.Helen was unlucky because she was blind and deaf when she was one year old. However, she did not give up. Her experience makes me feel that I am lucky. So, I should learn from her to be brave and diligent.
She was a lonely child because she could not see how wonderful the world was. In order to communicate with others. Helen tried hard to learn sight language and to speak and read Braille. When she grew up, she became a successful woman. I respect her and learn to have confidence in myself. We should not give up even when we face difficulties.
Although she had a lot of hard times, she also helped the disabled. She raised funds for building special schools and libraries for the blind and deaf. She also visited some disabled soldiers during the Second World War to encourage them. This was unbelievable.
The life of Helen Keller gave me courage, confidence and hope. I learned a lot from her and respect her most.

I read a comics book about Helen too. She is brave and powerful. Even her home teacher is very great. Do you know about her?
